A very long, cold weekend.  After being told of an internal email of another political party in November when a challenge was put out that that party could deliver by hand a leaflet “in their area” before Christmas, I wonder whether this was achieved.  We have now completed the second full delivery, a third having been partly abandonded because of the weather over Christmas and January.

 I now wonder what “the area” is??  Is it Holmfirth centre, the Holme Valley South ward, the Colne Valley constituency or the whole of Kirklees?  We will never know, but I have suspicions that it is Holmfirth centre!!

 It was snowing on the tops above Holmbridge today.  Brrr!!!

Started the day at Fire Services HQ – Data Protection training.  Fascinating!  Later a meeting at Environment Services to discuss bin collection in the snow etc etc.  This was very positive.

It’s raining now.  I wonder if this cold spell has finally broken. Probably not.
