We are now into Day 2 of the General Election.  Organising a campaign takes so much out of oneself that it is not unreasonable to wonder whether survival at polling day will be a realisit achievement.  What with all the literature to be delivered, the next lot to be written, approved and printed, as well as looking after the necessary mailings, freepost leaflets, poster sites, getting the nomination papers completed, booking rooms for the Adoption Meeting (plus arranging a speaker), there’s hardly time to eat or sleep.

But miraculously the literature is being delivered on time, and in far greater quantities than from the opposition.  Will all this make a difference – who knows?  There has been so little activity from Labour and the Tories appear to be playing a very concentrated game. Weird!

Intermixed, of course, there is still all the council work and it is really important to keep on top of it all.  At least the weather has been kind to date, but that won’t last.
